Wild West Guns CoPilot

Our world-famous, customized CoPilot rifle is a fast-handling, heavy-hitting 37" lever-action rifle. Weighing around 6½lbs, with a six-round magazine tube and minute-of-angle accuracy, this rifle is a powerhouse for hunting. 

We re-chamber each CoPilot to accept our .457WWG Cartridge, which fires a 350gr bullet at around 2,300 FPS. The rifle is capable of firing all .45/70 loads for lever-actions and can single-feed a 2.5″ .410 shot shell, making it extremely versatile. The rifle features our recoil-control porting (on non-threaded models) and a Pachmayr recoil pad for surprisingly comfortable recoil. Modified into an 18 ½” take-down configuration for easy transportation.

Wild West Guns Alaskan Guide

The WWG Alaskan Guide is a stainless steel, hard-hitting rifle featuring a 6 round magazine tube. The rifle is re-chambered for the hot new .457 WWG round which fires a 350-grain bullet at around 2,300 per second while still allowing use of all standard 45/70 loads and single feeding a 2.5″ .410 shot shell. The rifle features our recoil control porting and Pachmayr decelerator recoil pad to produce a surprisingly comfortable recoil like a 12-gauge shotgun.

Our rugged WWG ghost ring rear sight and WWG/XS solid blade front sight with high visibility insert are installed for fast target acquisition. The Alaska Guide gets a reliability tune performed on the action for feeding, extracting, and ejecting.

We install our patent pending Trigger Happy Kit giving the rifle a crisp, clean, 3-pound (approximately) trigger pull, our Bear Proof ejector, and anodized aluminum magazine follower and we fit our famous big loop lever for ease of operation and to stop knuckle bite.

You now have a Alaskan Guide rifle with an overall length of just 37 inches that will go anywhere in the world with confidence.
